Children’s Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization that raises funds for 170 hospitals for children. The organization has joined hands with Xbox 360 to announce a brand new campaign called Gameroom Giveaway. Xbox leaves it up to the American citizens to choose which three Children’s Miracle Network hospitals should get a gameroom makeover. They can vote online on the companies’ new website for this very purpose.
People can visit the new website and vote for their favorite Children’s Miracle Network hospital. As an added incentive, every person who votes stands a chance to win an Xbox Elite console. There are five such consoles to be won. The contest is open from September 3 till October 16, 2009. The three most popular children’s hospitals will receive the coveted gameroom makeovers which are valued at $10,000 each.

Children’s Miracle Network and Xbox relationship first developed last year. Besides the latest Gameroom Giveaway, the companies have seen a lot of other components together. During the holiday season last year, Xbox 360 raised $1.3 million. This money was accumulated through the sale of the Children’s Miracle Network Family Game Pack.
The gaming company is also installing the latest and upgraded Xbox 360 kiosk in the Children’s Miracle hospitals that are located all across the US. The gaming kiosk meets hospital standards and is certified for such an environment. The booth comprises of an Xbox 360 Console, a High Definition 19 inch LCD Screen and 2 Xbox controllers. Players can choose from an array of 200 gaming titles all of which are E-rated.
