Xbox Series X and Series S Pre-Orders In India Now Live, Here’s Where To Get Them

Xbox Series S And Series X

The Xbox Series X and the Series S consoles can now be pre-ordered in India, just like the rest of the world. Amazon, Flipkart, and Reliance Digital are the outlets taking online pre-orders along with offering finance options. The top-tier Series X costs Rs. 49,990, whereas as the disc drive-less Series S can be yours at Rs 34,990. It’s interesting to note that pre-orders for the PS5 have started in different parts of the world, but Sony is still mum on the matter in India.

The Xbox Series X and Series S appear to be getting sold out pretty fast, so you better be quick with your pre-orders on the above-mentioned platforms. Amazon is offering no-cost EMI options for three or six-month periods with Amazon Pay ICICI credit cards. Amazon Prime members will also get 5 percent cash back with the same card. Similar offers are available on Flipkart for Axis Bank cards.

The prospects of the Xbox Series X and Series S received a big boost yesterday, as Microsoft announced its $7.5 billion purchase of ZeniMax Media, the company that owns Bethesda Softworks, id Software, Arkane Studios, and more. That means the cross-platform nature of games from the Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, Dishonored, Doom, and other franchises hang in the balance. It has, however, been confirmed that games like Deathloop and Ghostwire: Tokyo that have already been announced for the PS5 will indeed land on the console and will likely be published by Microsoft.

The Xbox Series X is the high-powered next-gen machine for 4K-120fps gaming, whereas the Series S offers a slightly underpowered GPU that’s good for 1440p-120fps games. And the latter will only play digital versions of your games since it doesn’t come with a disc drive.
