Each new CoD game seems to be getting its own set of Turtle Beach headsets, and this year it’s no different, as fresh Call of Duty: Ghosts gaming headphones have just been unveiled by the company. As can be seen in the image below, they’ve all been branded with logos of the new Call of Duty game. The launch of these three limited editions gadgets – dubbed Shadow, Spectre and Phantom – will coincide with the release date of the forthcoming first-person shooter, but they have indeed been made available for pre-order right now.
Priced at 99.95 USD (approx. Rs 6,250), the Call of Duty: Ghosts Shadow stereo headset features 50mm speakers, and is USB-powered. Its design is highlighted by breathable mesh cushions and a padded headband, while it even bears independent volume controls on its inline amplifier. Lastly, its dynamic chat boost technology automatically increases the volume of chat during loud gaming scenarios.
The Call of Duty: Ghosts Spectre headset comes with noise isolation technology, and delivers its audio through 50mm drivers that couple with neodymium magnets. Adjustable bass and treble levels, dynamic chat boost, a detachable mic, independent volume controls and a variable mic monitor also make their way into it. These headphones are USB-powered as well, and they too offer breathable mesh cushions and a padded headband. The gadget is priced at 199.95 USD (approx. Rs 12,490).
Next is the Call of Duty: Ghosts Phantom headset which is the most premium among the three and is placed at 299.95 USD (approx. Rs 18,740). Customizable speaker plates have been embraced by it, apart from dual band Wi-Fi technology and a programmable dual stage audio processor. Offering fully wireless game and chat audio, it comes with a rechargeable battery and kicks in a number of voice prompts and game presets aimed at the new CoD title.
Like we said, these CoD: Ghosts headsets will be seen arriving in markets when the game itself will be released later this year.
