Dell’s official blog has been updated with a post detailing the Alienware X51 gaming PC which boasts of a compact form factor that apparently makes it the company’s smallest gaming desktop ever. Offering second generation Intel Core processors, this PC also kicks in the latest Nvidia GeForce GTX graphics cards which were recently seen in the MSI GT783 and the MSI GT685 laptops.
The chassis of the X51 sports a black finish with dark chrome accents as well as three customizable lighting zones. Moreover, its dual-orientation trait allows users to set it up either horizontally or vertically, according to their preferences. The familiar Alienware Command Center also makes its way onto this PC, providing gamers with the ability to access several options like Alienware applications, AlienFX lighting effects and the AlienFusion power management system. A new function named AlienAdrenaline has also been introduced to this command center. It enables gamers to personalize profiles that will launch a series of events when activated.
“Today, along with the new Alienware X51 introduction, we’re also introducing the new Alienware Gaming Services offering, which enable gamers’ lifestyles by providing services that support the latest games on the market and come with a ‘No Fix, No Fee’ policy. Services offered include New Game Setup, Game Performance Optimization, Game Customization and Personalization, and In-Game Troubleshooting,” John Blain, Consumer PR Social Media Specialist at Dell wrote on the blog.
The Alienware X51 gaming PC comes equipped with a Mini-ITX motherboard and Intel H61 Express Chipset architecture. Gamers can choose to include either Core i3 dual core, Core i5 or i7 quad core processors. Alternatives are also available in the GPU department, with 1GB GDDR5 Nvidia GeForce GT 545 and 1GB GDDR5 Nvidia GeForce GTX 555 being the two choices. A 7,200RPM 1TB hard drive, an optional Blu-ray Disc reader, Wireless-N technology, HDMI 1.4 and two USB 3.0 slots are some of the other traits that form part of the hardware components.
Gamers can now purchase the Alienware X51 gaming PC through Dell or Alienware websites at a starting price of 699 USD (approx. Rs. 35,400).
