Razer and EA have jointly announced their Battlefield 3 range of peripherals and gear line which includes the Battlefield 3 Razer Onza Tournament Edition Xbox 360 controller, a Battlefield 3 Razer messenger bag and a Battlefield 3 iPhone 4 protection case by Razer. These assortments will see a worldwide release on October 25, 2011.
The Battlefield 3 Razer Onza tournament edition Xbox 360 controller will be equipped with 2 adjustable resistance analog sticks and 2 multi-function buttons. Four backlit Hyperesponse action buttons too would feature on this controller. It has also been endowed with a quick release USB connector and a 15 feet lightweight, braided fiber cable.
Robert ‘RazerGuy’ Krakoff, President, Razer U.S.A., revealed, “Everyone at Razer is eager for the day Battlefield 3 launches and we’re going to be right there next to every other gamer immersed in the most hardcore military game to date. And we’ll be doing it with the Battlefield 3 Collector’s Edition peripherals and gear line by Razer – the best hardware to complement one of the most hotly anticipated shooters of 2011.”
The Battlefield 3 Razer messenger bag is apparently ‘armored’ with a tear-resistant, weather-proof 1680D nylon outer shell. It sports a single-shoulder design and its chest clasp allows buyers to use it conveniently. The compartments in this bag are designed to house 15-inch laptops, gaming peripherals and portable gaming devices and padded inner lining protects these devices from sudden shocks.
Furthermore, the Battlefield 3 iPhone 4 protection case by Razer supposedly aims at shielding the smartphone form the ‘shocks of war.’ It is equipped with heavy duty silicone and features a rubberized finish to grant users a better grip.
A release date of October 25, 2011 has been confirmed by Razer and EA for their Battlefield 3 Razer Onza Tournament Edition Xbox 360 controller and other gear. The controller will be priced at 59.99 USD (approx Rs. 2,744) while the Battlefield 3 Razer messenger bag will retail for 79.99 USD (approx Rs. 3,659). The Battlefield 3 iPhone 4 protection case by Razer will cost 19.99 USD (approx Rs, 914).
