AMD Introduces new Phenom II and Athlon II Processors

Last year in November AMD launched the ATI Radeon HD 5970 graphics card, capable of driving three displays at once. Now AMD has announced that it has expanded its AMD Phenom II and AMD Athlon II processor families for desktop PCs, with several new processors. This is designed to give the typical consumer advanced performance capabilities for their desktop PC at extremely attractive price points.

The new AMD Athlon II X4 635 processor on the other hand, has been designed to provide excellent quad-core performance and can handle the demand put on it for multitasking and multi-threaded applications.
