Now we have word that MSI has launched the NF980-G65, an extreme AMD gaming platform. The platform supports an AMD processor, and get this, an additional NF200 controlling chip.
The NF980-G65 from MSI comes with an Nvidia nForce 980a chipset and can support 3-way SLI processing. The gaming platform supports the latest Phenom II AM3 processor from AMD. It also comes with the MSI exclusive Active Phase Switching or APS technology. Active processor power switching cuts out the unnecessary energy usage and saves power.
The gaming platform also supports Easy OC Switch technology. This enables the user to revive processor potential by using an easy switch, rather than going through complicated BIOS processes and commands.
