XFX is known for its graphics cards, having already launched the HD 4770 and the HD 5870 graphics cards. Now XFX has announced the worldwide launch of the XFX Nvidia GeForce GT 240. The card will be distributed in India by Rashi Peripherals.
The GT 240 gives every PC a blast of power with a host of advanced technology. The card comes in either the 512 MB GDDZR3 or a first-ever 1 GB GDDR5 version, and is powered by 96 Nvidia Cuda cores. It also features Nvidia PhysX technology for extreme gaming and can act as a dedicated PhysX card if paired with another Nvidia based graphics card.

Nvidia’s Lumenex engine and 16x anti-aliasing technology give stunning image quality and floating point accuracy at high frame rates. The XFX Nvidia GT 240 also boasts of a host of other features such as Microsoft Windows 7, DirectCompute, Open CL, OpenGL 3.2 and PC Express 2.0.
The XFX Nvidia GeForce GT 240 is available across India at an estimated street price of Rs. 6,000.
