Asus ENGTX295 Graphics Cards Series Launched

Asus has introduced their latest range of graphics cards utilizing high end Nvidia GPUs. The range includes the Asus ENGTX285 Top, the Asus ENGTX285 Ultimate and the Asus ENGTX295. Asus claims the ENGTX295 is the world’s fastest graphic card and the ENTGX285 Top and Ultimate improves graphic performance by as much as 5% and 10% respectively.

The ENGTX285 Top and Ultimate’s shader is improved from 1476MHz up to 1620MHz and 1550MHz; their cores from 648MHz to 670MHZ and 712MHz, and their memory clocks from 2484MHz up to 2760MHz and 2600MHz respectively. The Asus ENGTX285 and ENGTX295 series are also fitted with the exclusive Asus GamerOSD allowing players to record live gaming or broadcast over the internet comfortably.

The series also feature a world’s first Asus SmartDoctor to tweak the Shader Clock on the GPU. Users will be able to overclock the Shader Clock and Engine Clock without rebooting the BIOS. The Asus ENGTX285 and ENGTX295 series graphic cards also come with CUDA technology with PhysX gaming effects and blistering speeds of video and image processing.

The Asus ENGTX295 uses a GeForce GTX295 graphics engine, PCI Express 2.0 bus standard and an 896-bit memory interface. The card has 1792MB DDR3 video memory, a 576MHz Engine Clock, a 1242MHz Shader Clock, a 1.998GHz memory clock and 2560×1600 maximum resolution. Included is one DVI-to-D-Sub adapter and one power cable and Asus utilities and drivers. The card is HDCP compliant and has HDMI output.

A GeForce GTX285 graphics engine, PCI Express 2.0 bus standard, a 512-bit memory interface and 1GB DDR3 video memory is common to both the Asus ENGTX285 Top and Ultimate graphics cards. The ENGTX285 Top has a 670MHz Engine Clock, a 1550MHz Shader Clock and a 2.6GHz memory clock, while the ENGTX285 Ultimate has a 712MHz Engine Clock, 1620MHz Shader Clock and a 2.76GHz memory clock. Also, both the Top and Ultimate cards have 2560×1600 resolution, D-Sub and DVI output, HDTV output and HCDP compliance. Included with the cards is one DVI-to-D-Sub adapter, one HDTV-out cable, one power cable as well as Asus utilities and drivers.
