PCB Productions, a digital audio recording and motion capture company, has put up a list in which it credits Sony Bend Studios to be developing Syphon Filter 5. The company itself is apparently working on facial motion for the game.
Sony Bend Studios is known for working on Resistance: Retribution for the PSP which is due out in March of this year. Sony Bend Studios, formerly known as Eidetec, was involved in the development of all the games in the Syphon Filter series up until now and rumor has it that they are working on Syphon Filter 5 for the PS3.
PCB Productions has worked on projects throughout the film, television and video game industry. They even work on graphic novels and television advertisements.
On February 4, 2009 Sony Bend had put up a job offer on Gamasutra for a game tools programmer having experience on the PS3 and the Xbox 360. This, in addition to the PCB Productions’ post, fueled the speculations that Sony Bend is developing Syphon Filter 5 for the PS3.
