Terraria Gets Another Update On Switch Following ‘Journey’s End’

Terraria

After Terraria was finally blessed with its long-awaited Journey’s End update on the Nintendo Switch earlier this month, it has now received another patch. While the earlier update brought it close to the game’s PC version, this one focuses on Switch-specific changes to make the game run better on the hybrid console.

Terraria on Switch now gives you the ability to move the sun and the moon on the frontend menu by holding ZR + right stick. Apart from that, Hotbar navigation has been improved based on player feedback, while plenty of bugs in split-screen multiplayer have also been fixed. Your dream of playing Terraria cross-platform will still have to remain a dream though.

Early in January, Terraria finally got its Journey’s End update on the Switch, which gave it the same content that was granted to the PC version back in May 2020. It brought with it over 1000 new items to find and craft, apart from new bosses, and more.

Developer Re-Logic had said during the release, “We cannot wait to see your reactions as you dive into all that this update has to offer, and we hope that you thoroughly enjoy our gift to you. It has been an amazing journey indeed… but we truly feel that this end is really just a new beginning for the amazing world of Terraria.”

Terraria remains one of the most popular games around right now. Heavily inspired by Minecraft, it’s a 2D sandbox game that features exploration, crafting, building, painting, and combat. By the end of 2020, this offering had managed to sell off 35 million copies worldwide.
