Some time back, leaked trademarks had revealed the name, Lara Croft Reflections, but it was not known what it relates to at that time. It has now come to the fore that this is actually a collectible card game which can be downloaded on iOS devices free of cost. Square Enix has quietly released the title on the Apple App Store, and it currently seems to be available only in Australia and New Zealand.
Lara Croft Reflections allows you to play as Lara of course. It contains PvP card battles which can even be played against others from all over the world. Its gameplay also involves collecting and combining weapon cards so as to level up and evolve new weapon cards. Its live boss battle events feature adds a little co-op twist to the whole experience, allowing you to participate in group battles to defeat powerful event bosses.
This spin-off to the Tomb Raider series is still to be officially announced by Square Enix. The company recently revealed that it will be bringing this year’s hit Tomb Raider reboot to next-gen consoles in January in the form of The Definitive Edition. Although few things will be changed overall, the game will still be blessed with advanced detailing and animations. Moreover, buyers will also be receiving all the DLC which was released for the original game. It will be launched for the PS4 and the Xbox One on January 28.
Coming back to Lara Croft Reflections, it can be noted that it’s available for download on Apple devices running iOS 5 and higher.
