Closure Hitting PSN on March 27

‘If you can’t see it, it doesn’t exist,’ is the core concept around which Eyebrow Interactive’s Closure revolves. This PSN offering is set to be released for the PS3 in North America on March 27 as part of Sony’s Spring Fever program, and will be doled out to PS Plus subscribers at a lowered price.

Closure 1

The game is described by its maker to be a puzzle platformer based on manipulating lights to phase objects in and out of reality. It has been created by a team of three developers – lead Designer and programmer Tyler Glaiel, artist Jon Schubbe and musician Christopher Rhyne. Three years have gone into the game’s making, with nearly one hundred unique puzzles being infused into it. A number of dark and creepy settings also make their way into the title in the form of a decrepit factory, a murky forest, an abandoned carnival and other such locales.

“Closure was selected as the Grand Prize Winner at the DICE 2012 Indie Game Challenge last month. This was the first competition we entered since the 2010 IGF (where Closure was selected as the Audio Excellence award winner) and it was really cool to see people’s reactions to the finished product,” commented Tyler Glaiel, Lead Designer and Programmer at Eyebrow Interactive, on the blog.

Closure 2

The puzzles that have been put into the title are said to be simple, but they eventually turn themselves into bigger challenges. Glaiel has also mentioned on the blog that towards the end of the development process, he himself had forgotten the solutions to certain puzzles which he had crafted.
