Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was showcased by the publisher at the E3, but the game is yet to be conferred with an official release date. It will allow players to assume the role of Raiden, whose first outing came in Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty for the PS2, and was later spotted as an NPC in Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots for the PS3. Wielding his high frequency katana blade, he seeks revenge against Sam and the rival PMC (Private Military Companies) group called Desperado Enforcement.
