The new game was teased by the company through an image released yesterday which shows the Red Bird dressed in robes resembling those from the classic movies and holding in its wing a Lightsaber.

As noted by IGN, Fast Company has official details about this upcoming game. It is expected to be revealed to the world on October 8 at the Toys R Us store in New York. The website writes that Lucasfilm will also be announcing a toy line to complement the game. But the most important piece of information coming from the production company is that this title will cast the birds as characters from the legendary movies.

The Yellow Bird seems to have beaten Harrison Ford for the role of Han Solo, while the role of his lifelong buddy Chewbacca is being donned by the Big Brother Bird. And as can be seen in the image below, the Death Star appears to have been built in the shape of a Pig.
