Gamers in India can now purchase a PC version of the much anticipated Need For Speed The Run, while console users would have to wait a few more days to grab hold of this title. It is slated to be launched for the PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 18, 2011. A Wii version of this game would also be outed on November 23.
The game’s campaign is focused around the protagonist’s quest for freedom from a mysterious crime organization that’s on his tail for owing them a large sum of money. A cross country race dubbed The Run holds in its store just enough money to secure his freedom. He must now beat 200 other drivers in the race which starts from San Francisco and ends at New York City.
“This is the biggest, fastest and most dangerous Need for Speed game yet. Need for Speed The Run delivers the series’ trademark thrilling racing and ups the ante with incredible action sequences and stunning performances from our all-star cast,” stated, Jason DeLong, Executive Producer, Need for Speed The Run.
The cast of this game comprises Christina Hendricks from the Mad Men TV show, Sean Faris of the Never Back Down fame and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models Irina Shayk and Chrissy Teigen. This title also kicks in online multiplayer support and marks the return of the Autolog feature which had debuted with last year’s Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit.
Seven exclusive cars will be included only in the PS3 version of this game. These include the Lexus LFA, Porsche Carrera GT, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, Hennessey Venom GT, Gumpert apollo s, Lamborghini Countach QV5000 and the Koenigsegg Agera R. Moreover, apart from these cars, various pre-order bonuses are also available for gamers.
Need for Speed The Run can now be purchased by gamers in India for the PC at Rs. 1499.
