Towards the end of June we reported that Zombrex Dead Rising Sun, a horror movie based on the Dead Rising video game series would be made available this summer through a series of episodes. Now Capcom has revealed that the Zombrex Dead Rising Sun movie will make its appearance on Xbox Live and the official Dead Rising Sun website. The company has also given a schedule of the same.
Keiji Inafune makes his directorial debut with Zombrex Dead Rising Sun, the story of which will unfold over eight episodic bits. The episodes will available for download on the Xbox Live service free of charge starting from August 4, 2010.
The first three episodes touch down on Xbox Live on August 4, 2010, episodes 4 and 5 on August 11, 2010, and episodes 6 and 7 on August 18, 2010. The last comes on August 25, 2010. The episodes will be available for viewing on the official Dead Rising Sun website starting one week after they hit the Xbox Live service.
Certain episodes begin with Inafune giving insight into the process of film making, which should serve as an added bonus.
