A couple of months back, we revealed that Activision registered a new ‘GoldenEye’ domain. Now Eurogamer has word about a James Bond: GoldenEye game which Activision is reportedly working on. The title in question will apparently hit the gaming scene by November this year.

As Eurogamer suggests, the upcoming bond title may just be a revamped version of the classic Nintendo 64 first-person shooter. This particular game was originally developed by Rare. It however appears that the company had no hand in development of the upcoming game. According to the website’s source, the development duties are equally given to Eurocom and n-Space which are based in UK and U.S. respectively.
Eurocom was earlier part of other James Bond titles and is responsible for creating the Nintendo 64 version of The World is Not Enough. Speculations on a remake based on the classic title came about only when the company registered domain names plucked out from the 1995 movie.
Apparently, the forthcoming action title from Activision is fashioned for the Nintendo Wii and DSi gaming consoles. Activision is expected to reveal the game at this year’s E3. There has however been no official word from Activision on the GoldenEye title as yet.
