Dragon Age: Origins playable with ATI Eyefinity Multi-Display Technology

Dragon Age: Origins is a big RPG from EA. Now AMD has announced that Dragon Age: Origins gamers can enjoy a much more immersive gameplay experience with the ATI Eyefinity multi-display technology which can be used with the game, thanks to game patches from developer BioWare.

BioWare issued patches for the game on November 6, 2009 and November 17, 2009 which fully enable Dragon Age: Origins on ATI Eyefinity technology, for better resolutions. The game can also be played with an ultra-wide, three display configuration. This allows for a maximum resolution of 7680 by 1600.

“We’re really excited to take advantage of AMD’s new ATI Eyefinity multi-screen configuration technology,” stated Mark Darrah, executive producer, BioWare. “Dragon Age: Origins is an incredibly immersive game and it’s quite impressive to experience the Dragon Age universe on this impressive technology from AMD.”

The ATI multi-display technology is capable with the following ATI graphics cards: ATI Radeon HD 5970, ATI Radeon HD 5870, ATI Radeon HD 5850, ATI Radeon HD 5770 or ATI Radeon HD 5750.
