PSN video delivery service now includes Up movie

Over the weekend we reported that the Video Delivery Service offered loads of movies and videos including content from Lucasfilm and MLB. Now a post on the official PlayStation blog suggests that movie enthusiasts can get their hands on the animated movie by Disney Pixar known as Up. The flick will be available on the PlayStation Network at the same time as its release on DVD and Blu-ray. The movie can be purchased in both standard as well as high-definition.

Disney is set to unleash onto the PSN nearly 80 full-length Disney feature films with Up being one amongst the many offerings by them. These movies are expected to be included into the video store for purchase in a few days time. Out of these, 60 flicks are in high-definition. These include of Disney Pixar’s A Bug’s Life, Ratatouille, Monsters Inc, Wall-E, and Cars.

Besides these offerings, the video delivery service also boasts of more than 2,400 full-length movies and 15,000 television episodes. Among these, users can espy all their favorite television shows, anime, original entertainment, sports and movies.

The movie list featured in the PlayStation Network includes the likes of Bedtime Stories, Bolt, Chicken Little, Con Air, Finding Nemo, Lilo & Stitch, Meet The Robinsons, Nightmare Before Christmas and The Princess Diaries. Other titles featured in the video delivery service are Race To Witch Mountain, The Sixth Sense, Sky High, Space Buddies, The Village and Wild Hogs, Signs, The Hitchhikers’ Guide To The Galaxy, Gone In 60 Seconds and Good Will Hunting.

Disney Pixar’s Up can be purchased for $14.99 (approx. Rs.696) and $19.99 (approx. Rs.929) in standard- and high- definition respectively. Quite a few of the Disney tiles are also available for rent with a price range of $2.99 (approx. Rs.139) to $5.99 (approx. Rs.278).
