Earlier we reported that there would be remote control vehicles based on the mighty Halo franchise, and could be pre-ordered from the official BigBadToyStore website. Now Kotaku is reporting that remote control vehicles based on the M12 Warthog, M274 Mongoose and AV-14 Hornet from the Halo franchise will go on sale later in the month.
NKOK, a remote control toy maker, says that the Halo remote control toy vehicles will be on sale from various retailers such as GameStop, Toys R Us, Walmart Canada and other specialty retailers.
The Warthog comes along with a Blue Spartan and a Master Chief figure, and the rear mounted gun can even pivot all the way around. The RC Warthog is the fastest of vehicles in the Halo collection and can reach a speed of 7 miles an hour. The RC Mongoose comes with a Master Chief action figure, and can touch speeds of up to 6 miles per hour. While the AV-14 Hornet is an indoor flying helicopter, and runs on a Li-Poly battery.
The Warthog is now available for 24.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,215). The Mongoose and the Hornet will release sometime in late September, and will be priced at 24.99 USD and 34.99 USD (approx. Rs. 1,700) respectively.
