Jovovich confirms Resident Evil: Afterlife shooting by end of 2009

Off late, the internet has been abuzz with information that the fourth film in the Resident Evil line of movies would be releasing in late September 2010. The film is apparently to be called Resident Evil: Afterlife and it was not clear whether Paul W.S. Anderson would be directing, or whether Milla Jovovich would be starring in the new movie installment.

Now ShockTillYouDrop is reporting that Milla Jovovich has confirmed in a paparazzi video that shooting for Resident Evil: Afterlife will start by the end of 2009.

“We’re going to start shooting at the end of the year,” she says. When asked by one from the pack of paparazzos, which movie she is referring to, Jovovich exclaims, “Number four!”

Resident Evil: Afterlife is scheduled to release to theatres on September 17, 2010 and Jovovich has apparently confirmed that she will indeed be appearing in the next installment of the movie series.
