Splinter Cell Voice Actor Injured in Mumbai Terror Attack

The recent terrorist attacks in Mumbai have affected many and it seems that the gaming industry too had one of its members among the casualties. Canadian news website CBC is reporting that Michael Rudder, a voice actor from Canada was injured in the shootout that took place at the Oberoi hotel.

Michael Rudder apparently was hit by three bullets. He was later brought to a hospital where he was operated upon. Though the surgery was very successful, he was in intensive care for some time. The Synchronicity Foundation has confirmed that Michael Rudder is now is healing and is very stable.

Besides lending his voice to movies and cartoons, Michael Rudder has also worked on video games such as Splinter Cell, Jagged Alliance 2 and Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. He was in Mumbai for a spiritual trip with the Synchronicity Foundation. When the attack took place, the Splinter Cell voice actor was apparently in the restaurant.
