One of the eagerly awaited games of last year was Assassin’s Creed. The action-adventure game was quite noted for the crisp graphics and the stealth gameplay. Most of the publications gave it good reviews. Gamers too picked up the game from the store shelves and it sold lots of copies.
The kind of reception that Assassin’s Creed got and the kind of blockbuster IP that it was supposed to be, Ubisoft would surely have thought about the sequels. Now the publishers have confirmed Assassin’s Creed 2. At the first-half fiscal 2008 2009 conference call of Ubisoft, an executive was queried about Assassin’s Creed 2. The executive explained that they are working hard on the product.
There is no word about the platforms on which Assassin’s Creed 2 will release. Also, they did not release any details about the launch window of the Assassin’s Creed sequel.
