One game that has been a favorite with gamers all over the world is Duke Nukem. The side-scrolling platform game was released in the early nineties and Duke has been one of the most famous gaming character ever since. The popularity meant that there would soon be a Duke Nukem movie. And that’s what 3D Realms is doing!
Scott Faye, the producer of Max Payne has told gaming blog Kotaku that he is assisting 3D Realms for the Duke Nukem movie. Scott Faye explains, “I am working diligently at making a Duke Nukem movie scenario that will live up to the character and its import in the videogame world. As is the case with all of my game adaptations, I’d rather not make the movie than make a poor adaptation.”
The Max Payne movie is expected to be out later this year in October. Scott Faye said that he is working on a Duke Nukem film scenario as two new games are coming out based on the franchise and it will make the studio finance a feature version, According to Faye, there is a large audience that loves and knows Duke Nukem!
