If you are eagerly waiting for Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, well, here is a nice piece of news for you! GameSpot is reporting that a Guitar Hero game featuring Metallica could be out in the first quarter of the next year. Filings in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) by Activision confirm this.
Analyst Edward Woo, who is the associate of Michael Pachter at Wedbush Morgan Securities analyst managed to uncover this, “In fiscal 2009, we plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms.”
Guitar Hero: Metallica will release after Guitar Hero: World Tour (or Guitar Hero 4), which is expected to be out in the holiday season of 2008. This is not the first time that Metallica have been associated with a video game. Last year, it was revealed at E3 that full albums of Metallica would feature in Rock Band.
