UTV Software’s Ignition Entertainment has announced that they are expanding their videogame development capabilities as they are opening two new studios. One is situated in Tokyo, Japan while the other one is in Florida in the United States of America. These new studios work on original and innovative intellectual properties.
Vijay Chadha is the chief executive officer and co-founder of Ignition Entertainment. He said, “This is an vital time for us. With the addition of these new studios we will increase our ability for producing original product. The opening of both Ignition Florida and Tokyo is a stepping stone to building a stronger and more focused development group. These studios are an important addition to the company and will be a concrete foundation on which future plans will be built.”
Ignition Tokyo and Ignition Florida as well as Digi-Guys will be making a new IP specifically for the next generation formats. Digi-Guys are the same people who have worked on WarDevil. They have stated further details of the projects that they are working on, which will be released in the next few months.
