Apex Legends Mobile Now Live In 10 Countries

Apex Legends Mobile

Apex Legends, one of the most popular battle royale games, has made its way to mobile platforms. The game is playable right now on Android and iOS devices but only in 10 countries. Players from Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Colombia can participate in this testing phase.

Developer Respawn Entertainment has said that this limited regional launch of Apex Legends Mobile is meant to test out the game’s matchmaking and progression systems, backend infrastructure, and in-game commerce. In case you’re wondering, this is a separate version of the game that doesn’t have parity with what’s happening in the other crossplay supported versions. So don’t expect to go hunting for stuff like the Wattson heirloom right away.

“We’re excited to receive valuable player feedback on the Ranked experience, the different game modes, Legend progression, monetization features, and more. These milestones and player feedback are important parts of the development process,” the studio said in a blog post.

World’s Edge is the only available map in the limited release, but more will of course be added once the game is fully ready. Players will be able to engage in Team Deathmatch, Mini Battle Royale, and 3v3 Arenas modes. And only a limited number of characters will be available to choose from. When the full release will take place, all the progression that players make in this test version will be refreshed.

But they will indeed receive an exclusive badge, a weapon charm, and a banner frame that will carry over into the worldwide launch of Apex Legends Mobile. Thanks to the game’s Battle Pass structure, players will be able to unlock cosmetics, voice lines, and new characters once they reach tier 25.
