Payday 2: Crimewave edition is the name of the next-gen version of the popular game which will be hitting the PS4 and the Xbox One sometime this June. There’s no particular release date to look forward to right now, but we at least have an idea of the month finally. This version of the title will come equipped with a host of new additions and will offer a pre-order bonus to all those who decide to book its copies beforehand.
Payday 2: Crimewave edition is a remastered version of the original game that was launched back in August 2013 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Since it’s headed to powerful platforms like the PS4 and the Xbox One, it will come equipped with an improved frame rate. Moreover, the developers have also revealed that the Crimewave edition will offer better looking textures, and will run at the sweet 1080p resolution.

It will offer almost all the DLC packs and updates that have been released for Payday 2 till now. These include the Armored Transport DLC, the Big Bank DLC, the Gage Assault Pack and more. Those who pre-order the title will be granted a 25 percent discount on it, apart from some free content which will come in the form of add-ons. These include a red dot weapon sight modification for all rifles, a skull mask, exclusive PS4 and Xbox One masks, unique mask patterns and additional in-game cash.
