Payday 2

Payday 2 acts as a sequel to its predecessor which came out in October 2011, and managed to grab favorable reviews for its unique offerings. Its developers had recently launched a multiplayer beta for the game, which was thrown open to those who pre-ordered it on Steam. Along with the new announcement, Overkill Software has also issued a message to the community, thanking them for the help they provided during the beta test.

The gameplay in Payday 2 revolves around the player and their team performing bank heists and robberies. Equipped with dynamic scenarios, it also claims to possess improvements in its weapons over its predecessor. The title’s open-ended gameplay means that players can choose how they wish to go about with their heists; either going in a slow and stealthy manner or heading in all guns blazing. A new mask system has made its way into Payday 2 as well, allowing gamers to craft their own unique disguises.

Prior to its release on August 13, Payday 2 can be pre-ordered on Steam for access to an exclusive Loot Bag upgrade pack containing in-game goodies.
