Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is all set to be a third installment to the much loved franchise of sniping games doled out by City Interactive. Fans should not get too excited though, as the game is slated to be released in the first half of 2016. It will be outed for the PS4, Xbox One and PC, becoming the first title from the series to embrace new-gen consoles. Since it is in its very early stages of development, no trailers or screenshots are available, but we do have the concept image which its makers have released.
It has been disclosed that Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 will take place in a modern day setting that will feature a conflict in Eastern Europe. Players will be placed in the shoes of a sniper who is caught between three warring factions. While these are the only plot details disclosed by its makers, they have made sure to tell us that the gameplay from this first person shooter will be non-linear in nature, and will feature sandbox elements among other things.

The Sniper: Ghost Warrior franchise has so far managed to trade off 5.5 million copies all over the world, which is a big achievement for a title that only targets sniping enthusiasts. While its first entry was launched for the Xbox 360 and PC back in 2010, it was made available for the PS3 in the following year. The second installment to the series came in 2013, and was released for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC at the same time.
