Crytek is one of the most well-known video game producers around the world with titles such as Crysis and Far Cry proudly demonstrating its portfolio. As of now, gamers all around the world seem to be eagerly anticipating Crysis 2, the sequel to its critically acclaimed predecessor. While only time will define Crysis 2’s success, the producers have revealed details about their new free-to-play online FPS dubbed Warface. The new shooter is co-produced by Crytek Seoul and is reported to be exclusive to the Korean and other Asian markets.

Set in near future, Warface is a military shooter offering a cinematic experience accompanied by next gen visuals, Artificial Intelligence and physics based on Crytek’s proprietary CryEngine 3 game development solution. Providing a continuously updated far-reaching PVE universe richly crafted with dramatic multiplayer co-operative objectives, the game also offers a full set of class-based PVP.
From what has been revealed, the game sure does seem unaligned with the contemporary online shooters, but what makes an interesting subject to be concerned about is how Crytek lays out the premium features of the game, if any. Details regarding Warface’s release dates or pricing have not been publicized yet, but of course, the sooner the better.
