THQ reveals that Metro 2033 has gone Gold

Late January was witness to the official release date of the upcoming game Metro 2033. The title is noted to be an action game sprinkled with FPS, RPG and survival horror elements. THQ has now confirmed that Metro 2033 has gone gold and is currently entering the manufacturing stage of development. The game is powered by the 4A Engine which is expected to attain new graphical heights.

The PC version of Metro 2033 boasts of superior DX11 features as well as Nvidia PhysX implementation. Players can also experience the game in complete 3D with the help of Nvidia 3D Vision. The official Metro 2033 website now features a new trailer entitled ‘Ghosts of the Metro’. The events in the game take place in the devastated subway of post apocalyptic Moscow. The in-depth underground survival title offers great gameplay along with stunning graphics.

As reported earlier, Metro 2033 is expected to hit North America, Australia and Europe on March 16, 18 and 19, 2010 respectively. The game is also scheduled to unveil onto the Xbox 360 and PC although the exact pricing details are not clear.
