Creeping into the gaming domain, the F.E.A.R series is set to stretch further with another horrifying chapter this autumn. Opening a window into the next installment, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released the new F.E.A.R 3 Almaverse trailer. The sneak peep into Alma’s nightmarish psychic world unveils new challenges in-store for players.
F.E.A.R. carries forward the saga weaved through the first two chapters while unleashing a new gameplay experience for fans. As the period of Alma’s delivery inches closer in the game, she begins losing control of the Almaverse which infuses wicked forces into players’ world. Shrouding paranormal activity in its intense narrative, this first person shooter enables gamers to engage in terrifying combat and co-op play.
In the title, players can control Alma’s sons namely Point Man and Paxton Fettel as playable characters in divergent co-op mode. This will present them with unique abilities, enriching their co-op play experience. They can also jump into action in single player or co-op campaigns by donning the role of Point Man. In the multiplayer mode, Paxton Fettel’s telekinetic power will come handy as it allows him to see the world beyond death.
Developed by Day 1 Studios, F.E.A.R. 3 has been crafted by the original creator in partnership with Monolith Studios. The Almaverse trailer is now available online and can be shared by fans, provided they satisfy certain conditions.
