Few Minor Differences in Graphics between the Console Versions of Vegas 2: Ubisoft

In November 2007, Ubisoft announced Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Now as the launch date of the game nears, gamers are getting excited as they want to know which version will be better. But Phil Therien from Ubisoft has indicated that there isn’t much difference between the PS3 and the Xbox 360 versions of Vegas 2.

Phil Therien is the game designer of Rainbow Six Vegas 2. In a LiveText interview with gaming website Eurogamer.net, he was asked if there were any differences between the console versions. To which, he quipped, “A few minor differences in graphics as usual, but nothing major. We wanted it to be a choice of console and not a choice of content to play Vegas.”

Therien was also quizzed if Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 would come to the Wii. He mentioned that a discussion about a Wii version of Vegas 2 takes place at least once a week at their office but they do not have any plans about it at the moment. However, Phil Therien pointed out that he would like to do something on Nintendo’s next generation platform.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is expected to be out later this month. The tactical shooter will be released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC platforms.
