Yesterday, we had reported that a live action Turok would be made soon. Well, it seems that Disney is not going to be associated with the Turok movie. Hollywood news website Variety is reporting that the Disney, who published the Turok game earlier this year, is not working on a Turok movie.
But don’t be disappointed as the Turok film is still in the pipeline. It is in fact being developed by Classic Media, who are basically an IP management company controlling the rights to Casper the Friendly Ghost, the Longe Ranger along with other old cartoons as well as comic books.
Classic Media were involved in the direct-to-DVD Turok animated movie, which was released in early 2008. They produced the Turok animated film. Well, gamers still will be looking forward to a Turok movie but will be wary as there is no major studio involved in making it.
