Electronic Arts has released a lot of blockbuster games, some are first-person shooters while some are action games. But we have not seen many survival horror games for EA. A few weeks ago, we had reported that EA had revealed that their survival horror game Dead Space would release a week earlier.
Now EA has sent word that Dead Space has gone gold. They have also revealed that gamers who buy the console versions of Dead Space in the first two weeks stand to download a platform exclusive suit. Xbox 360 gamers will get the Xbox-themed Elite Suit while PS3 gamers will get the Obsidian Suit.
Also, there is the Dead Space Ultra Limited Edition for the Xbox 360, which will be available at the EA Store. Besides the game, it will have Dead Space Downfall Animated Movie DVD, bonus content DVD, art book, graphic novel, an exclusive lithograph. It is a limited run of 1000 copies.
Dead Space has been developed at the Redwood Shores Studios of EA. The Xbox 360 and the PS3 version of Dead Space will release on October 14, 2008. It will cost $59.99 (approx. Rs. 2800). The PC version of Dead Space will release on October 20, 2008. It will come with a price tag of $49.99 (approx. Rs. 2340). As for the Dead Space Ultra Limited Edition, it costs $149.95 (approx. Rs. 7000).
