GRAW 2 Copies Confiscation ordered by Mexican Governor

After the mayor, it is now the Mexican Governor’s turn to take on Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. Mexican daily El Diario is reporting that Jose Reyes Baeza Terrazas, who is the Governor of the Mexican state of Chihuahua, has ordered the confiscation of all copies of the game.

It seems that Baeza Terrazas finds GRAW 2 an insult not only to the city of Juárez, but also to the entire Mexico. He feels that the game, which is based on US military forces taking on Mexican rebels, is gratuitously rude against the people of Juárez. Baeza Terrazas also wants the Mexican government to issue a diplomatic query with the American government regarding GRAW 2.

Some time ago, we had reported about Héctor Murguía, the Mayor of the town of Juárez, who condemned GRAW 2. It seems that the situation could become a political storm for the US Government.
