It seems that the next-gen Riddick game, Chronicles Of Riddick: Assault On Dark Athena is delayed. According to Pro-G, Sierra Entertainment spokesperson confirmed that Assault On Dark Athena will now release in 2008.
Chronicles Of Riddick: Assault On Dark Athena was scheduled to release in fall 2007, but now it will release next year. The game is basically a revamp of the earlier Riddick game, Escape from Butcher Bay that was first released some time ago on the Xbox and the PC. It will have improved graphics, a new single player campaign and the addition of multiplayer features.
Chronicles Of Riddick: Assault On Dark Athena will be developed by Starbreeze, the same people who did the Butcher Bay game. The first person shooter will release on the PS3 as well as the Xbox 360 in 2008. Let’s hope that they come up with a PC version of Chronicles Of Riddick: Assault On Dark Athena.
