Rainbow Six Vegas Black Pack Downloadable Content is Now Free!

Some time ago, the Black multiplayer map pack for the Xbox 360 version of Rainbow Six Vegas was released as a paid downloadable content (DLC) on the Xbox Live. Xbox 360 gamers ended up paying 800 Microsoft points for it. The map was later pulled from the online service by Microsoft.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas Black Pack Downloadable Content for Xbox 360 Live was originally intended to be free content for the fans of Rainbow Six Vegas. We apologize for the error. All players who purchased the Black Pack will be reimbursed automatically

Ubisoft has put back the map on Xbox Live and has stated that from now on the Black Pack will be free and as a token of their appreciation for the Rainbow Six community, they will also make the Red Pack free from July 6, 2007. However, gamers who had already purchased the Black Map pack will have to wait for some time for the reimbursement.
