Season 2 of MultiVersus is live now and can be jumped into by those wanting to experience its new additions that include a fresh Samurai Batman skin. Meanwhile, Player First Games has also announced that the Looney Tunes alien Marvin the Martian will be entering the game soon.
Free-to-play fighter MultiVersus‘ second season comes with a number of premium cosmetic additions. These include Evil Morty, who can be purchased for 1,500 Gleamium. The Fern skin, Uncle Shagworthy, and Samurai Batman are going for 2,000 Gleamium apiece.
They can all be purchased through the newly added in-game shop aimed at bringing all cosmetics and characters under one roof. Season 2 of MultiVersus also brings with it the Battle Pass experience.
Its advent has required the developers to tweak progression so all tiers can now offer rewards. And to make the Battle Pass feel “engaging and rewarding,” the makers have also tuned the number of points required to complete each tier.
The MultiVersus Battle Pass will unlock the Baker Street Tom and Jerry skin at tier 50 of the free track, while the paid track will bring the Astronaut Velma skin at tier 1, the Tea Time Reindog skin at tier 42, and the Maestro Bugs Bunny skin at tier 50.
Another new addition to Season 2 is the new Big Head Mode, which can be found in its Silly Queue lineup. It gives player characters larger heads and effectively, larger cooldown reductions as well. The silly mode also gets a new bounce pad, proximity mine, and drumstick items.
As for the addition of Marvin the Martian to MultiVersus, that will happen in the near future. The new character will be accompanied by a new arena modelled around Game of Thrones’ throne room in King’s Landing.
