A few months ago, we had reported that Capcom was working on the Street Fighter IV game. However, they had not revealed the platforms on which Street Fighter IV would be launched. Now Capcom has stated that Street Fighter IV will be released on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Windows-based PC platforms.
Street Fighter IV is expected to have the two dimensional Street Fighter gameplay but with dazzling three-dimensional characters and environments. The fighting game will have Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Guile along with new characters like female super-spy Crimson Viper, lucha libre wrestler El Fuerte and mixed martial artist Abel. It will also include locations never seen before in a Street Fighter game.
Though Capcom confirmed that Street Fighter IV is expected to be launched on the Xbox 360, PS3 and the PC platforms, they haven’t given any details about the release dates or a launch window of the game.
