Fans of Bionic Commando who were eagerly waiting for the improved remake of the 1988 Nintendo Entertainment System classic, here is a piece of bad news for you: Capcom has announced that Bionic Commando Rearmed has been delayed and wont release in May as it was expected to.
An excerpt from what was posted on the official Bionic Commando website by Capcom:
- This is MA-1. Sir, we know you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the finished Bionic Commando Rearmed, but it appears we’ve run into a few problems in the closing stages. I regret to inform you that we have received confirmation that the game won’t be making its scheduled May release.
The reasons given for the delay of Bionic Commando Rearmed were that they are still ‘battling’ with bugs and submission procedures! Bionic Commando Rearmed is being developed by Sweden-based studios GRIN as a downloadable title for the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PC.
