No delay for Driveclub assures Sony, development going ‘spectacular’

Some doubts were indeed thrust into the minds of PS4 fans after Sony decided to lay off a large chunk of its staff from Evolution Studios, apart from some folks over at Guerrilla Cambridge and Sony London Studio. But they have now been removed by the publisher with a clarification that the upcoming racer will be released this year itself, and that the progress of its development is going ‘spectacular’ at the moment.

Driveclub

Sony confirmed to Eurogamer through a statement that development of Driveclub is ‘going from strength to strength.’ It has also mentioned that the layoffs haven’t in any way affected the progress of Driveclub. More importantly, the company has declared that it will be releasing crucial details about the game including its release and trailers in the coming weeks.

We’ll have more on Driveclub when additional details about it are out.
