Forza Motorsport 4 has finally reached U.K markets and the Kinect integrated racing game can now be purchased for the Xbox 360. Hailed by its makers to be a ‘genre defining’ title, this new installment to the popular franchise is available currently in a Standard Edition as well as a Limited Collector’s Edition which will include additional in-game content.
The Limited Collector’s Edition will comprise the American Muscle Car Pack, Launch Bonus Car Pack, VIP Car Pack, other downloadable content and VIP membership status. The Launch Bonus Car Pack consists of five added vehicles – the 1965 Ford Mustang GT Coupe, 2011 Koenigsegg Agera, 1997 Lexus SC300, 2011 RUF RGT-8 and the 2011 Tesla Roadster Sport. On the other hand, the American Muscle Car Pack will feature ten extra rides. For those who don’t purchase the limited edition version, this pack will retail on Xbox Live at 560 Microsoft Points.
A Season Pass has also been announced for the game, providing gamers with discounts on DLCs. Developer Turn 10 claims to have used ‘Hollywood-style’ camera effects in this new title which also utilizes a brand new lighting engine. Apart from the online multiplayer support, Forza Motorsport 4 will also kick in Top Gear Integration which means gamers will be able to enjoy traits from the popular TV show while in the game. Furthermore, its Autovista Mode will bring in Kinect integration for the first time in the franchise.
Gamers in the U.K. can now purchase Forza Motorsport 4 for the Xbox 360 at 49.99 Pounds (approx. Rs. 3,776). The Limited Collector’s Edition retails 59.99 Pounds (approx. Rs. 4,531), while the Season Pass can be bought from Xbox Live at 2,400 Microsoft Points.
