MX vs. ATV Reflex for PC Soon to Unleash via Steam

Off-road racing machines were brought together on a single dirt-road racing terrain by THQ with MX vs. ATV ‘Unleashed’ back in 2005, and later on with ‘Untamed’ in 2007. Deriving its virtuosity from it prequels, the gameplay experience of MX vs. ATV Reflex is an effusion of the same old blood rush with a new touch. In the upcoming holiday season, Reflex is set to be released on Steam with new tracks, environments and night racing mode exclusively for the PC platform.

“We are thrilled to bring the #1 off-road racing franchise, MX vs. ATV, to the PC platform for all the fans,” commented Michael Lustenberger, Vice President of Global Brand Management – Online, THQ. “As a huge added bonus, we developed a substantial amount of dynamic downloadable content post-console launch that will be included in MX vs. ATV Reflex on PC.”

MX vs. ATV Reflex incorporates an innovative Rider Reflex Control System, a synchronized terrain deformation and a substantial physics engine – Rhythm Racing 2.0. The new control system isolates the rider from the vehicle and allows players independent governance over the character as detached from the machine.

Presently under development for PC, Reflex is reported to be made available throughout the world for download on Steam during this holiday season. It is expected be on sale via retailers across Europe and Australia at the same time as its digital version. While specifics on the exact release date or pricing details are not available for disclosure yet, it continues to be sold on Xbox 360, PS3, PSP and Nintendo DS.
