Mad Tracks makes it way to Xbox LIVE Arcade

Racing fans are in for a treat this week, as Microsoft has announced that this week’s addition to Xbox Live Arcade (XBLA) is ‘Mad Tracks’, a 3D racing party game.

However, do note, that Mad tracks is not your usual racer game, as tracks run through just about any place from a kitchen, living room, ballroom and of course a normal open road as well.

Mad Tracks offers both Championship and Arcade Modes, giving players a high-definition, 3D racing experience that they will never forget.

Here are the features of ‘Mad Tracks’ :

15 distinct challenges (6 races & 9 mini-games) provide a full-fledged racing game experience

12 stackable power-ups (rockets, freezer, oil drop, EMP and more!)

12 sleek looking cars to choose from

4 player multiplayer over Xbox LIVE and 4 player local multiplayer via split screen mode

Championship mode & Arcade mode

2 free gamer pictures

Earn up to 12 Achievements and 200 Gamerscore points

And that is not all! You can also double and triple the challenges in ‘Mad Tracks’ by downloading the Bravo and Encore expansion packs. These will cost you around half the price of the actual game, but will add additional races and mini-games to Mad Tracks.

Each of the expansion packs includes an additional 15 nail-biting races and action-filled mini games for 350 Microsoft points each. Also, in the future, new tracks will be available for download for ‘Mad Tracks’.

‘Mad Tracks’ will be available worldwide, excluding Korea from Wednesday, May 30, 2007 09:00 BST / 10:00 CET DST onwards on Xbox LIVE Arcade for 800 Microsoft Points.
