Robert Ecker, VP of Programming for SPEED quoted, “These are real people, real crews and real cars battling it out for a very significant cash prize. It’s a very lively production encompassing an unbelievable amount of drama and suspense. Each team and personality has to excel in every one of these racing categories to be competitive; there’s not much room for error.”

This is what Microsoft had to say on the Forza Motorsport 2 In-Game Auctions:

Although “Forza Motorsport 2” can be an extremely competitive affair over Xbox Live, the developers at Turn 10 wanted to further stoke the passion of the racing community by giving them an in-game marketplace to show off their custom creations. Just head over to Forza Motorsport 2’s Online Auction House, where – on a global scale – players will be able to buy and sell (using in-game credits) and trade one-of-a-kind vehicles with other Forza fanatics. The Online Auction House will encourage fans to share their exceptional whips, or complete their car collection from our roster of over 300 must-have rides. With near limitless customization options, “Forza Motorsport 2” is sure to motivate the creativity of car tuners and painters alike. For more details on the Xbox Live Auction House, be sure to check out this week’s Pitpass Report on Forzamotorsport.net.

The total price money in the four-part live action mini series is pegged at $1 Lac (approx. Rs. 45 Lacs). Last week we had reported about the list of cars that will feature in Forza Motorsport 2. Click here to head to our post.
