Stardew Valley is getting banana trees in next update

starde valley Stardew Valley is all set for a new free update, and as the results of its developer’s recent Twitter poll have shown, it will be receiving banana trees in this one. This adds to the long list of fruit trees you can tend to on your virtual farms already. There’s still no news on when this update will be released though.

Stardew Valley developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone had revealed that he was working on a new update for the game in February. And it was only a few days back when he created a Twitter poll asking fans to tell him what tree is to be included in this update. The choices included avocado, banana, mango and passion fruit. While banana won the race, mango came in at a close second.

The game’s previous update came out in November last year and included everything from life improvements to multiplayer enhancements. Moreover, it also brought with it support for fish breeding, clothes tailoring and dyeing. As massive as this update was, it even added fresh mine content, new clothing options, hairstyles, buildings, and decorations.

And even as ConcernedApe continues to shower fans with free content now, he is also busy at work on two other unnamed projects right now. While both have been revealed to be 2D top-down games with a pixel art look, only one of them is a farming game. Right now, there’s no telling what genre the other game will be treading.

Stardew Valley was first released in 2016 for PC, Mac, Linux as well as the PS4 and Xbox One consoles. In the following year, it made its way to the Nintendo Switch, while the year after that saw it making its way to the PS Vita. Moreover, the game is also available for download on iOS and Android devices.
