Samsung Smart TV customers are already said to be enjoying a considerable amount of web content on their television sets. But the company wants to take the experience a step further. Samsung U.K. recently heralded that its popular Smart TV app store, Samsung Apps will be partnering with the PlayJam games network to provide users with casual and social games. The collaboration will provide Smart TV users with a line-up of more than 500 games.
Users can click their remotes to access the PlayJam app which doesn’t require any add-on games console. The app delivers games in HD widescreen picture along with motion-processing and picture stability. Apart from that, the PlayJam Social TV games platform facilitates social networking through features like chat and messaging within the network. Core aspects like live mass-participation events, gaming tournaments, virtual currencies and leaderboard displays assist are also available with the app.

The Smart TV app’s ‘Search All’ function lets gamers search content from any connected storage, PC or mobile device within the home network. Furthermore, its ‘Your Video’ service includes access to personalized movie guides by enabling viewers to watch and preview video clips and TV shows.
